Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding shoes This is my second pair of the Gallivan2r and they are my absolute favorite golf shoes of all time. As a walker, they provide the comfort and stability I need in a golf shoe. That said, I give these shoes my highest recommendation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Seldom Write Reviews But… I bought my first pair of G/FORE golf shoes last year at Bandon Dunes. My feet were in tough shape after walking the courses three consecutive days in golf shoes I’d brought with me. I didn’t see how I could continue. But the normally reserved staff in the BD golf shop glowed about the G/Fore shoes they carried so I took the plunge on a pair of Gallivans. They saved the rest of my golf trip as I covered the approximately 5 miles a day three more times in complete comfort. I’ve now played approximately 70 rounds in these shoes and they look and perform as new. Clearly one of the best products I own. So I bought a second pair which I’m reviewing now. As was the case for my first pair, completely comfortable right out of the box. G FORE covers small details that matter. The extra pair of shoelaces they include are nice to have if you’re out on the course and break one. Shoes I’ve purchased from a major brands don’t include this. Nor do they include washable and replaceable insoles as G FORE does. They also don’t hold their shape over time as my Gallivans have. Golf is important in my family. My son played professionally and I play every other day during the warm season. We’ve been complemented many pairs of flagship model golf shoes but none of them have been at this level. Thank you G FORE for raising the bar. It’s been a pleasure owning and wearing your shoes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointing lack of durability shoes This is my 3rd pair of G/Fore shoes, I’ve had 2 pair of the original Gallivanter shoes, both were great and held up decently well over a couple of golf seasons. These however, I am pretty disappointed in. The foam sole showed signs of wear and tear after a single range session hitting off of mats. That is entirely unacceptable. The inside of the shoe had exposed adhesive areas like they forgot to finish the construction. And the sizing is at least a full size different from my previous G/Fores. My previous shoes were 12s, so I ordered 12s in these and they were laughably huge, I went down a full size to an 11 and they fit better, but there should not be that kind of discrepancy between them.
