Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Styling These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I have walked 18 with them a few times now, in all kinds of weather, wet, dry, hot, humid, on very hilly courses, and they have performed beautifully. These are my fourth pair of g/fores, and I can only give them top ratings, just like the others. I love the classic styling, and the grip on every kind of stance is as good as any spiked shoe I play. Every pair I own receives compliments. I’m eyeing up my next pair. I demand the very best from myself, my equipment, clothing and the courses I play on. These shoes fit the high level golf I play. Play, feel and look great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from wow are these narrow I bought 11 and 11.5 thinking one will fit. These are so narrow I have never had a shoe this narrow. Have to return and get a 11.5W which I have never had to get!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Experience Better make sure you get your correct size, because if you wear them for even two or three holes and they hurt your feet or give you blisters, tough. You own them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST FITTING AND MOST COMFORTABLE GOLF SHOE EVER! Best Golf Shoes Ever! I've been playing competitive golf for 40 years and these are the best shoes I've ever worn. Early in the day I wore Foot Joy and had to endure endless break in pain, blisters etc and they never fit well even after breaking them in. I loved the traditional FJ look, sadles etc but the pain wasn't worth it over time. Then in early 2000's I discovered Adidas, best fitting shoes ever, they were broken in the first time you wore them and were always comfortable, problem was they never had a traditional look. Chasing or trying to set trends, Adidas never developed a traditional looking shoe. Then comes along GFORE, great fit, form and function. They felt great the first day I wore them and love the classic look. Even better, their protective coating on the leather never scuffs, any scuff just robs off and is easy to clean. The form to your foot and give you great stability yet, they are soft and comfortable, never creating any pinch points like FJ. When comparing prices for the premium shoe, they are worth the extra $20 bucks over the FJ or Adidas brands!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from G/FORE Like other reviews state, they do run narrow in the toe box area (order the wide if you’re on the fence). They mark easily (easy to wipe with your towel). The soles do pick up everything (shoe attendant takes care of that). Those points being made, they look SO GOOD that anything less than 5 stars is unacceptable! And they’re extremely comfortable too. I personally am not the biggest fan of the skull motif so the classic saddle design in deep navy blue, coupled with the aqua blue hits of the sole and small G4 eyelet decoration on either shoe create a truly handsome golf shoe. Waterproof (so far) leather, laces made of some indestructible (so far) material, and good stitching round out the A+ utility of this pair of shoes. I’d be happy to pay full retail for this pair of shoes. But you don’t have to! Be patient and wait for their sales... it’s more than worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from iGolfReviews - Gallivanter Wide Review Mossimo Giannulli, founder of G/Fore, has described the DNA of brand as disruptive. At the heart there is a spirit of elegance and luxury in every piece but with that comes an element of rebellion. As an avid golfer, Giannulli is said to test every shoe before it launches to market. On the PGA Tour, G/Fore shoes are worn by Bubba Watson and Phil Mickelson, just to name a few. At the games highest level, elegance and luxury are useless is the shoes do not perform on golf’s biggest stage. Over the past couple years, I have seen G/Fore migrate into the pro shops of some of the private and higher end daily fee courses in my area. If a brand performs, word seems to spread among members. Like tour players, the 12 handicap is also looking for that unicorn that makes this game we love a little more enjoyable. As noted by a few of the club professions around town, the G/Fore shoes seem to be doing just that. On August 26th of this year, I was scrolling Instagram and noticed a post by G/Fore indicating “Wides have arrived” in a short video that included some styles of their Gallivanter model. As a guy with a wide foot, I require, of course, wide shoes. For the sake of comfort, the minimum I require is EE however, I prefer 4E if available. If you are not a wide shoe guy, you are probably unaware that not many golf shoes are readily available in wide options. When they are, it is usually one to two specific models in their entire line with one to two color choices. Finding a shoe in the style, color, and performance aspects you desire if you have the curse like I do. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to see one of my favorite brands in the game is [finally] offering wide shoe options. At this time, G/Fore is only offering select versions of the Gallivanter in wide (EE). As such I placed an order for the Saddle Gallivanter. Just like mainstream fashion, golf fashion seems to be cyclical as well and the timeless saddle shoe seems to be making a comeback as well. If you remember back to some of the classic saddle golf shoes, the sole was very heavy like a dress shoe. Out of the box, the first thing you’ll notice is how lightweight the G/Fore Gallivanter is compared to what you expect a classic leather golf shoe to feel like. I also noticed how soft the pebble grain leather is to the touch that is 100% waterproof. The have the look and feel of a luxury classic golf show. However, the aesthetics of the shoe is where the “classic” ends and performance begins for the Gallivanter. Once your foot enters the footbed of the Gallivanter and you take your first few steps, you would think you have an athletic show on as opposed to the fashion shoe it looks like. It’s got it all that the classics did not, moisture wicking prosperities, a soft sock like anti-microbial mesh liner, and a stepped insole that feels like you’re getting a foot massage while you walk. On the turf, the Gallivanter incorporates the G/Fore multi-cleat system. Although this system is “spikeless” it has been a proven design of stability and traction utilized on the PGA Tour. Having worn the multi cleat system both on and off the golf course in the past, I can attest to the not only the performance of this cleat, but the longevity and durability of the materials used. The spikes just to not seem to loose their grip or traction. On the [wide] feet and on the course, the Gallivanter is one of the most comfortable performance golf shoes I’ve every worn. Right out of the box, the Gallivanter’s require no break-in period. This would have been virtually unheard of 20 years ago with the classics of the past. Walking 18 holes with these is as comfortable as any other spikeless design on the market. This combined with the stability of the rugged multi-cleat, you’d be hard pressed to find a better looking performance golf shoe. At $225 these are on par for price with other comparable premium products from other golf shoe lines. The quality construction, materials, performance, and comfort render the Gallivanter one of the shoes to beat in the all around space. The Gallivanter Saddle comes in midnight blue (shown) and brown. If you desire the timeless styling of this classic shoe design the Gallivanter should be at the top of your list. Note: The Gallivanter fits relatively true to size if not slightly longer. Consider going down a half size if you are in between sizes but true to size if you are usually right on the number.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and nice looking. I am a 56 year old woman who probably golfs 3x a week and this is my second pair of the exact same shoe. I prefer to wear a style that looks more like a shoe than a sneaker and those are very difficult to find for ladies. The ladies Gfore shoes are cute but a lot of them have detailing over the toe box which I find uncomfortable, so I prefer the saddle style. Also Navy is my primary color this year so these look great with all my outfits. I wear a size 9 in ladies and the size 7 mens fits perfectly.
